Aquacid Pond Plus is conditioner for lowering pH and carbonate hardness (KH). The product contains a combination of mineral acids. Aquacid does not contain phosphates that may contribute to algae growth.
Dosing:
- 100 ml of Aquacid reduces carbonate hardness by 3 °d in 1000 L of water (100 ml = 3000 L×°d ).
- Before adding Aquacid to pond water, dilute it at a rate of 1 : 20.
- Lower pH and carbonate hardness gradually in portions.
- At the same time, measure pH and hardness of your pond water with Aquatests pH and GH-KH.
- In the first step of treatment, carbonate hardness is lowered and until it is completely removed, the pH of water decreases slowly. In most cases complete removal of water hardness is undesirable. At a carbonate hardness equal to 0, further changes in pH become rapid, and Aquacid pond should be added with care.
- The product is completely safe for both plants and fish.
Important note:
Use Aquacid Pond Plus exactly as described. Keep the product out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after using the product. After opening the product, seal it properly and store it in a dark and cool place.
