Bio balls are produced by RK Plastics. The bio elements have a unique, patented shape. They do not stick together, ensuring maximum efficiency and making the biofilter easy to clean. The large surface area of the bio balls optimizes water purification. The bio elements can be used in both static and moving carrier biofilters (e.g., biofilters, BIOpress, pressure filters, external filters) for nitrification and denitrification.
The bio elements are made from polypropylene, do not contain halogens, and are environmentally friendly – they can be recycled and disposed.
