An aeration set with a diffuser (Jecod air pump + diffuser + hose + hose clamp + hose connector + pipe elbow) helps prevent pond stall and still water, reduces algae growth, and creates a blissful environment for fish growth. In the winter, the aeration set helps prevent oxygen depletion in the pond. The set keeps part of the pond ice-free, allowing gas exchange and oxygen replenishment.
Jecod series membrane air pumps are cost-effective. They have high efficiency, durability, and low energy consumption. We recommend to choose the air compressor based on the pond area:
- up to 300 m²: PA-35 (20 W)
- 300 – 600 m²: PA-45 (25 W)
- 600 – 900 m²: PA-60 (38 W)
- 900 – 1200 m²: PA-80 (55 W)
- 1200 – 1500 m²: PA-100 (65 W)
- 1500+ m²: PA-200 (210 W)
- For keeping a swimming spot open in the winter, we recommend models PA-60 (38 W) or above.
The aeration set has a membrane diffuser (EPDM or silicone). Thanks to the smooth surface of the membrane, it does not get clogged over time. The “holes” on the membranes are designed for maximum aeration. Generally, silicone membrane has a longer lifespan and higher temperature tolerance compared to EPDM.
The set also includes a 20m triple-layer reinforced hose, 2 x stainless steel clamps 12-22 mm, and a pipe elbow, but the quantity can be adjusted in the drop-down menu.
