Biotorfin Pond is a water conditioner that removes undesirable waste protein compounds from pond water. The conditioner also eliminates heavy metal cations that are harmful to fish. Biotorfin slightly acidifies water and stabilizes pH. Using the conditioner results in clear water, thus contributing to healthy fish growth and the overall appearance of a garden pond.
Biotorfin contains natural, vegetable tannins. It is safe to fish and plants.
Dosing:
- 250 ml is used to stabilize 5 m3 of water.
- Before adding the conditioner to pond, dilute it at a rate of 1 : 20 in a backet, and then evenly distribute it over the pond.
- Algae growth inhibition is visible several days after the use of Biotorfin.
- Repeat treatment every 3 – 4 weeks depending on sunlight exposure.
- Regular control of nitrate NO3– and phosphate PO43- content is necessary as their elevated concentrations may contribute to algae growth.
- The conditioner can also be used preventively by adding half the recommended dose.
Important note:
Use Biotorfin Pond exactly as described. Keep the product out of reach of children. Wash hands thoroughly after using the product. After opening the product, close it properly and store it in a dark and cool place.
