Intensiv is a high-quality granulated staple fish feed for young carp and sturgeon (35 – 300 g), manufactured by Alltech Coppens in Germany. The grain is 2mm and contains vitamin A.
Intensiv is a sinking fish feed. It ideally suits for bottom-feeding fish in home ponds and professional fish farms. Feeding fish with sinking feed, it is important to carefully consider the amount of feed given to the fish. Quantities should be calculated based on the feeding table to avoid excess feed sinking to the bottom:
Pellet size: 3.0 mm, 4.5 mm, 6.0 mm, or 9 mm.
The manufacturer recommends selecting the pellet size based on the weight of the fish: 3.0 mm pellets are suitable for fish up to 100 g; 4.5 mm pellets for fish up to 500 g; 6.0 mm pellets for fish up to 1,000 g; and 9.0 mm pellets for fish up to 2,000 g. For carp and sturgeon up to 50 g, Intensiv 2mm (starter) pellets are suitable. If there are both smaller and bigger fish in the pond, it is important to notice that larger fish will prefer smaller-sized feed, but smaller fish cannot grab larger feed. Therefore, offering granules of different sizes and structures ensures that all fish get the necessary amount of feed.
The feed should be stored in a dry and shaded place. It is recommended to use up the feed within one season.
