Supreme Astax is a premium base feed for salmonids enriched with protein and astaxanthin, manufactured by Alltech Coppens. Astaxanthin is an antioxidant that generally enhances fish immunity and gives salmonids red flesh color. Additionally, Supreme Astax contains vitamin A.
Ingredients: fish meal, wheat flour, poultry meal, wheat gluten, poultry blood meal, fish oil, salmon oil, yeast products.

Pellet size: 4.5 mm, 6.0 mm, or 8.0 mm. The manufacturer recommends choosing pellet size according to the fish weight:
- 4.5 mm pellets for fish up to 400 g;
- 6.0 mm pellets for fish up to 1 000 g;
- 9.0 mm pellets for fish up to 3 000 g.
If the pond contains fish of various sizes, keep in mind: larger fish readily eat smaller pellets, but smaller fish cannot handle larger ones.
Supreme Astax is a sinking fish feed which makes it ideal for bottom-feeding fish living in home ponds. When using sinking feed, it is important to carefully monitor the quantity of feed given to fish. Feeding amounts should be calculated based on the feeding table to avoid excess feed accumulating at the bottom. Excess feed can significantly worsen the living conditions of the fish and lead to a sharp drop in oxygen levels.

Proper storage of fish feed is also very important. Feed should be stored in a dry and shaded place. Ideally, the feed bag should be used up within one season.
